SOCIAL EVENING AND KARAOKE

There was a disppointing turnout for last night's 60s/70s Disco and Karaoke evening held at Malshanger - perhaps the word Karaoke was the catalyst that encouraged members to stay away!! Those who attended seemed, however, to thoroughly enjoy the music. Neeedless to say it was our Social Committee Chairman Ric Newson who was the first to demonstrate his singing (or lack of) skills and this encouraged other members to have a go and after a slow start the evening passed quickly. At the conclusion, President Norman thanked the Disco and those who attended and paid tribute to Ric who had a long day having spent the morning playing in the Mixed Top Club and the afternoon and early evening preparing the Club for the event.
