GOOD FEW DAYS FOR THE LADIES

Congratulations to Carol Phillips and Laura Butler. Playing last night at Fleet United in the new Bowls England Foundation Pairs Competition they lost the first set 4-7 won the second 11-0 and triumphed in the tie break. This win takes them to the Last 32 nationally, only two wins away from playing at Leamington. It was a good few days for Janie Vickers as she and Angie Rowe reached the Northern Area Final of the County Pairs (sadly Laura and Val Ryan went out at this stage) and went on to skip her triple and four to the semi finals of the North Hampshire Women's BA competitions.
