GREAT EVENING AT TEST VALLEY

Yesterday evening's Presentation Dinner at Test Valley Golf Club was another great success. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves with excellent food and service from the friendly and hospitable staff. As is customary, we were delighted to host both Jamie and Sue Colman and the County Presidents, this year Liz Bingley and Geoff Jessup, both accompanied by their spouses. We were also joined by friends from as far away as Portsmouth. Following the meal and speeches, came the trophy presentations by Jamie Colman. For our President Ric Newson these had special meaning as, not only did he win the Two Wood Singles, but his son, Gary in his first season at the Club did the coveted double winning both the Open and Men's Singles. The evening was over too soon and the laughter on the coaches returning to Oakley demonstrated just how much it had been enjoyed.
