Sunday morning saw Oakley go down to a 3-2 defeat to Andover Eagles in the Moreton Cup played at Longmeadow IBC. The rink of Mary Varndell, Hugh Aherne, Jim Dixon and Malcolm Grime came out on top by 1 shot but unfortunately that of Jamie Fewtrell, Sue Dixon, Steve Devonish and Martin Vickers went down by 9 shots. There is still an outside chance of making the play-offs but it will probably requre a 5-0 win and for other results to go our way.
