CANDLELIGHT BOWLS

Wednesday evening's Candlelight Bowls at Oakley BC was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. Fears that we might get cold were unfounded. It was a balmy 18C and there was some surprisingly good bowling with Jonathan Scott and Keith Bringes being the most successful players, Following the bowls we all moved over to the Clubhouse where we enjoyed supper supplied by Olivers of Basing and collected for us by President Norman and Roy Holland. Thanks go to Wendy and Nikki and the Social Committee for organising the event and to all members who helped out on the night.
