A busy week has already seen the Club hosting the semi-finals of the local Ladies League as well running our Drawn Fours Competition and this afternoon we were pleased to host the finals of the Stan Hardman League. Basingstoke Town took on Yateley Beeches in the Shield competition and, on the first occasion there has been a Plate event, Alton Social played Fleet Swans. On a lovely sunny afternoon, the visiting supporters were treated to some excellent bowling by all four teams and we hope they enjoyed their afternoon.
The busy week at the green continues tomorrow with a critical match in the Basingstoke and District Men's League. Currently Kingsclere sit second in Division 1 and will be looking for at least a 3.5 to 0.5 win over Oakley to top the league and deny Alton Social successive titles.
