After snatching a late victory in their first match of this year's Ambler Fuller Trophy at Loddon Vale, Oakley's hopes of reaching the play offs took a knock as they lost to Aldermaston. Down 9-1 after just 4 ends the rink of Val Ryan, Jim Dixon, John Ryan and Malcolm Grime rallied to level at 16 ends and went into the 21st end trailing by 1 shot. Unlike in the previous game, our skip was unable to recover the situation and Aldermaston won 22-20.
