Congratulations to Alice Lovett who, after her disappointment in the Junior Singles, bounced back today by winning her first match at Leamington in the National Singles. Playing against Jazzmin Alder of Oxfordshire Alice picked up two early scores of 3 to lead 10-3 but was pegged back to 10-9 before a further 3 took her out to 13-9. Jazzmin pulled 2 back but in the last, 4 ends Alice scored two 2s and a final 3 to run out a 21-12 winner. Good luck Alice for tomorrow when you take on double Commonwealth Games gold medallist Sian Honnor of Kent.
