Today was a great day for Alice Lovett as she lifted the National Champion of Champions title. Reports of her games were on Facebook and for those who did not see them, they are listed below.

Congratulations to Alice Lovett who, this morning has beaten Rebecca Willgress to reach the Final of the National Champion of Champions. Trailing 7-13 and 11-16 Alice, on gaining control of the jack, switched to longer ends and staged an an amazing comeback to win 21-17. The final begins at 12.30.

The Club's congratulations go to Alice Lovett who has just lifted the National Champion of Champions title with a 21-19 win against Morgan Merryweather of Whiteknights. It was so tight with the players tied at 5-5, 11-11 and 17-17 but Alice held her nerve to grind out the win. What an achievement.
