THE SEASON BEGINS

The season began yesterday with a Drive at Malshanger attended by just under 50 members - a good turnout for a cold day. Then, in the evening 56 members and friends attended a Cheese and Wine evening hosted by Sarah from Majestic Wine. This year the theme was South Africa. Six wines were on offer, after which there was a ploughman's supper before entertainment provided by Kate Aherne. Kate's vocals combined with their earlier wine soon had members in party mood and the evening finished with the more energetic taking to the floor. Thanks go to all who helped to make both events a success.
