HCC GRANT PUT TO GOOD USE

The Club has made good use of a monies, given to us by Councillor Juliet Henderson, through the Hampshire County Council scheme that allocates to each councillor funds they can use to make grants to organisations within their wards.

The monies have enabled the Club, not only to replace with rectangular tables all the circular tables in its pavilion, but it has helped towards the cost of redecorating the pavilion, changing rooms and kitchen. The painting was a big job, taking nearly two weeks, but our thanks go to the enthusiastic band of volunteers, who travelled to the club in some poor weather, and ensured the facilities will have a fresh look as we begin the next season.
